Moosalamoo (pronounced moose-ah-la-moo) is derived from the Abenaki word “Mozalômo” meaning “moose call, song or sound”

The Moosalamoo Association is a citizens' advisory group that advocates on behalf of Moosalamoo National Recreation Area. We are non-profit organization run by an all-volunteer board of directors and part-time executive director. By supporting Moosalamoo Association, with either a one-time or recurring gift, you'll help us fulfill our mission, raise awareness, and contribute towards matching grant funds.  Every donor will receive a Moosalamoo trail map as a thank you.
