Berry Picking:
Wild berries abound in the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area.  As you hike the trails, be on the lookout for wild strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. Wild blueberries can be picked in the Blueberry Management Area located off Flora White Road and Forest Road 224 in Goshen, and cultivated blueberries can be picked at the Blueberry Hill Inn with permission. Wild apples, from trees planted by early settlers to the area, are also found throughout the region near old, abandoned cellar-holes.
